i got 1 small baby dearded dragon few weeks ago but it doesnt drink water from the bowl, it only drinks if u spray water on it mouth, is there a solution to this problem?….plus do u have to feed it bottle water or tap water will do just fine?

  5. tacobaby4 Says:

that is very wrong. you are supposed to feed a bearded dragon as much as it will eat foolio

  6. lee2by4 Says:

Dont worry. Its gonna take a lil while for it to get used to its enviornment. Slowly start trying to feed it by hand some salad or crickets and eventually when its hungry, it will know you are not there to hurt it. Hope it helps!

  8. pankinyek Says:

what did you do to him?? 0_o lol …. make sure he see you often etc. just try try and try till he gives up and will let you to pick him up(just ‘hold your position’, but not aggressively …) i can’t see the other way, sorry….[alse try hand feeding him]

  9. pankinyek Says:

are they in 1 viv? if yes than separate them to 2 different enclosures, because 1 dragon usually dominate( means that he get more food or the best basking spot etc. etc. … they are territorial animals naturally)…. take care

  10. anarchyrlz Says:

but thats the problem he wont let me near enough to stroke him

  11. pankinyek Says:

stroke him on a head for abit’ before handling him so he get use to your presence, and start taking him out from the cage every day to handle(start maybe from 15-20 min. and increase time of ‘contact’ gradually up to even 1-2 hours a day…) …..to say simply-tame him, that’s only solution i can see, and off course just take good care of animal, good luck!
