The bar was supposedly 'new'.I was about to assemble this bar 2 days before I started the p90x program, but i noticed that the screws and nuts were rusty looking and dirty. On top of that, the wall mounts were dirty, as if someone has used them. This lead me to believe that it was not 'new' like the seller had stated in his/her description. Also, the screws didn't fit the nuts, so I had to go to walmart to buy new screws. I was pretty disappointed because I was willing to pay so much money for a NEW bar but I felt like i got jipped. I paid around $55 when I could have gotten a new total gym bar for $30 from CVS.

I would buy from this seller, again. Fast shipment, product matches what they said it would.

BUYER BEWARE: True/legitimate P90X chin up bars are only sold at the original P90X website. The "P90X" chin up bars sold here are KNOCKOFFS. They are fake and untested for safety! Sellers offering such product in this listing are all in violation of Amazon policies since they are not truly selling a "P90X" brand chin up bar (which they claim to be). Furthermore, sellers are in violation of P90X trademark rights because they are selling a non-P90X products. Beware of poor quality chin up bars that could be unsafe to use. As a precaution, purchase branded products from legitimate sellers.

This product is available for $[...] plus $[...] s&h direct... and that's on the expensive end. DON'T PAY MORE! You can find even better deals on Amazon for new, never used.

First of all... the photo currently shown is crappy and too small. Having said this, the product looks really good when you can actually see it.

[...]

The New York Barbell company has a similar product, as does Everlast... if they will work for boxers and weightlifters, they'll work for you!

My rating for this product is based on how it compares to similar products available at a similar price. Do your research!

After seeing good photos of this product, and seeing photos of it in use, I have decided to give it a try. I'll let you know more about it when it gets here.
