Although this text does cover a wide range of safety topics, it is somewhat dated and contains a farly large number of typos. Therefore, the reader has to be careful. The book needs to be updated and the typographical errors corrected. If that were to be done, it would definitely be a five star book.

This book is loaded with good safety and health related information for engineers. I had to buy for the graduate engineering class I was taking and the professor was only able to cover less than 1/2 of the textbook for a full semester course.

You ask me for a review of a book I never received. That’s impossible. I still don’t have my book. I want my money back or my book. I will leave Saudi Arabia by the 29th of September I my book is not here yet. Everytime I call the attendant says that Amazon has no resposability. Well I got the book through Amazon.
Please find a sotution to the problem and stop acting like you have nothing to do with it. My semester is almost half gone and I still don’t have my book.

This single volume is jam-packed with a great deal of information. You can learn about such things as fire safety, the ergonomics of manual labor, human impact (pardon the pun) of falling accidents, electric shock hazards, the effects on humans of heat and cold, chemical hazards, biohazards, radiation hazards, and so much more.

Great book. As an educator, it was the best one on the market. It only lacks current data, but the new edition coming in a couple of months should take care of that.
